It is soot free, has no odor, and does not emit any smoke or toxic fumes. Each can burns for 2-3 hours, and can be reused until empty. Each can has the manufactured date stamped on the lid. The fuel will maintain its gel consistency for 12 months past this date before returning to liquid state. Once gel reaches liquid state it is still usable, but caution must be used to prevent spilling.
